As of late Wednesday, EMU fans heard that Glenn Bryant from the EMU Basketball team had been suspended. Bryant had been suspended for felony assault and domestic violence charges. Bryant who was recruited out of Detroit, originally transferred to Eastern Michigan from Arkansas where he also had a past criminal history. Bryant played for the Razerbacks for two years and only one year at EMU.
This last season Bryant averaged 10 points a game, 4.5 rebounds, and about 1 block. Bryant had a starting role on the team and going into his senior year was looking forward to a big year with a lot of returning players and a good recruiting class.
The EMU basketball team still has to stick together to get through this, and look forward to the next basketball season.
